Delete my account

You can ask us to delete your Tartine account and everything attached to it at any time. It's free and permanent.

Fastest: from the app

Open Tartine, then Settings → Delete my data. Deletion is immediate and needs no verification. If you no longer have the app installed, use the form below.

What gets deleted

• Your account and its identifier.
• The recipes in your cookbook and your favorites.
• Your grocery lists.
• Your import history.
• The notification tokens of your devices.
• Your subscription status at our billing provider (RevenueCat).

What does not get deleted

• Recipes extracted from public content stay in a shared cache with no link to your account: they describe a public post, not you.
• Pseudonymized usage statistics, kept for 24 months at most.
• Whatever Apple or Google keep on their side about your purchases (we never have access to your payment details).

How long it takes

A request sent through this form is usually handled within 48 hours, and within 30 days at the latest. You'll get a confirmation by email.

What about my subscription?

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription: that one is managed by the store. On Android: Google Play → your profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Tartine. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Tartine.
